Nerve-Express is a user-friendly, non-invasive, fully automated computer-based system designed for a quantitative assessment of the Autonomic Nervous System and the level of Physical Fitness based on Heart Rate Variability analysis. It is the first and only ANS assessment system incorporating proprietary Artificial Intelligence technology. The Nerve-Express system is distinguished by its accuracy and speed, is highly reliable and easy to operate. This precise and sophisticated system comes in a compact design.
Attention all US Customers!
All Heart Rate Variability Systems produced by Heart Rhythm Instruments, Inc.
may be used in the United States for investigational use or for Fitness assessment by licensed fitness professionals.
The Nerve-Express System performs the following tasks:
Assessment of Autonomic Nervous System and the level of Physical fitness based on lying-to-standing test (Orthostatic test);
Assessment of Autonomic Nervous System based on performance of the Valsalva maneuver combined with deep breathing;
“Real-Time” assessment of Autonomic Nervous System for up to 24 hours (similar to the Holter Monitor) with calculation and three-dimensional representation of the spectral function for each stage. The autonomic response may be observed every 2-3 minutes by separate assessment of Sympathetic and Parasympathetic Activity. This modality can be used for intensive care, anesthesia, and other long-term applications.
A convenient polar belt is firmly fixed around the patient’s chest, while a receiver transmits the signal to the PC.
The Standard Nerve-Express system comes in two versions: One Channel Nerve-Express and Dual-Channel Nerve-Express. The Dual-Channel system performs the same functions as the One-Channel system and, in addition, allows health professionals to save time by measuring two persons simultaneously. The test procedure requires two separate beds at least 4 feet apart. This option facilitates psychological interaction between the patients and allows the comparison of their reactions to common stimuli.

2. Pocket-PC Nerve-Express
Heart Rhythm Instruments, Inc has made a special effort to deliver much of the functionality of the Standard PC Nerve-Express unit on a Pocket PC – at a substantially reduced price.
The Pocket PC Nerve-Express performs the same tasks as the Standard Nerve-Express system.
This compact and wireless version is just reliable as the Standard PC unit.
The package includes: •
Polar belt (to be fixed firmly around one’s chest); •
Transducer; •
hp iPAQ Pocket PC with pre-installed Nerve-Express
software and 1 Secure Digital Card (SD Card) with a back-up option (plus generic Pocket PC functions).
The Pocket-PC can be used alone or with any of the versions of Nerve-Express.
You can easily export data from the Pocket PC into any other Nerve-Express system’s database, and print results from there.
Unit price: Pocket PC Nerve-Express alone:
$2900
Note: $1000 off any other version of Nerve-Express if purchased with Pocket PC Nerve-Express

3. Nerve-Express with Ambulatory Holter Monitor
In addition to the functions performed by the Standarad Nerve-Express System this version enables ANS assessment based on Holter Monitor data. The system includes Digital Holter recorder (Rozinn Electronics Inc.) for up to 24 hours of continuous recording of ambulatory ECG data.
The package includes: • Nerve-Express Standard System; •
Rozinn Holter Monitor.
You can monitor ANS activity continuously AND see the dynamics of autonomic function during up to 24 hours on one graph. The Hourly Monitor allows you to compare ANS activity during daytime and nighttime, which is the key to detecting health abnormalities of two kinds:
Detecting serious health impairments.
Seeing the difference between daytime and nighttime activity of ANS system is critical for distinguishing between a temporary health problem and a serious disorder.
Detecting sleep disorders.
Instability of parasympathetic nervous system activity during sleep beyond the normal range is a marker of a sleep disorder
