THE EXPRESS METHOD OF HEALTH EVALUATION COMPUTER MONITORING OF THE LEVEL OF PHYSICAL FITNESS OF INDIVIDUALS
Health-Express can automatically determines the Level of Physical Fitness of a human body. The system makes it possible to obtain qualitative and numerical characteristics of a person's level of Functioning of
physiological systems and level of the adaptation reserve based on a mathematical analysis of the wave structure of the Heart Rate Variability (HRV) during the Orthostatic test. This structure is a unique "wave portrait" reflecting the body's regulating processes. This wave portrait is unique to each individual, like a fingerprint.
Fig.17
The Health-Express system defines an individual portrait's deviations from the ideal portrait that can be called the "Optimal Regulation Mechanisms condition " (Figure 17).
The Health-Express system produces a numerical description of regulation mechanisms of Heart Rate Variability. The system's evaluation is based on an understanding of the HRV wave structure as a superposition of all fluctuating neural, autonomic, hormonal and others processes that occur in a human body.
Figure 17 is a graphical representation produced by Health-Express of the Level of Physical Fitness of a professional athlete. The chart on the lower right indicates a score of 1 for the heart's adaptive reserve and 1 for the Level of the Functioning of Physiological systems for a perfect score 1.1. A pictorial wave from representation of this score appears in the electrocardiographic rhythm strip to the left.
The Health-Express system automatically defines a human body's Functional State by the results of an orthostatic test.
The Functional State of the human body is the ability to perform habitual functions. The main components that determine functional state are:
Heredity;
Degree of physical fitness;
Current psychological and emotional state;
Destabilizing factors at the time of the test.
The destabilizing factors may include illness, emotional and physical stress, alcoholic and other kinds of intoxication, etc.
